I know it’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted a new drawing here, but you’re just going to have to wait a little bit longer! In the meantime, I’ve been listening to Bastille quite a bit this week, and I hope there is some new music from them soon. I know they just released an EP, Roots of ReOrchestrated, but I’m talking new songs, whether it’s covers or not! Anyway, I was scrolling through some old photos, and I found the first Bastille drawing I have ever done! This is probably back from 2013 at least. Enjoy!

Fan Art Friday: AFI
I know I just posted a drawing of AFI a few weeks ago, but they just dropped two more new singles and another music video. They deserve more recognition with an old drawing of mine. After the realization that I haven’t got any new drawings of AFI, that’s going to change before Bodies drops in June! But for now, enjoy.
Album Review: Machine Gun Kelly – Tickets to My Downfall
Admittedly, even though Machine Gun Kelly is from my neck of the woods, I’ve never really given his music much of a chance in the past. A large part of that has to do with the fact that he’s primarily a rapper, which just isn’t really my cup of tea. Yes, I’ve seen him at rock and emo shows, both as a fan and as a performer, but I just attributed that to the fact that he was local. Turns out, he can make some really good emo and punk music! Let his new album, Tickets to My Downfall, put all your fears to rest.

This is the first new music from the band in about four years so it’s freaking exciting! Even more exciting? They’re also putting out an album on June 11th entitled Bodies, and I for one cannot wait. Oh, yeah, they also got their name on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame voting list this year! Quite a busy time for the band who have managed to make the best of a shitty situation. I know they’d be touring the world right now if they could.
