You get a part 2 this week because I get to see AFI live and in person TONIGHT! I am so excited. It’s probably been a good four or five years since I saw them last, and you bet I’ll be trying to work my way to the front. Stay tuned, but for now enjoy this other woodblock painting I did many moons ago.

Read moreIn case it’s not incredibly obvious by now, I am as obsessed with Hannibal as Hannibal is with Will Graham. So naturally, I’ve done another piece, but this time they’re both in it! Most of it is pen, but the blood and antlers are painted (acrylic and watercolor, respectively). Truthfully, I am VERY pleased with how this turned out. I forgot how fun it is to paint blood, too!

Read moreNostalgia got the best of me this week, so I listened, on repeat, to my all-time favorite album, You Have No Idea What You’re Getting Yourself Into, by my favorite band, Does It Offend You, Yeah? This also happens to be one of my favorite album covers! A+++ guys. I also thought it’d be fun to show I can use other mediums – paint! Listen to this album…you’ll thank me later 🙂
