Armor for Sleep – Rain Museum, Album Review

Even though Ben Jorgensen of Armor for Sleep told me last November during their 15 year anniversary show that new music was on the horizon, I really didn’t believe it would be this soon! But sure enough, a few weeks ago, the band released their fourth album, Rain Museum, out into the world.

Mr. Harrigan’s Phone – Short Story and Film Review

The literary horror family are getting all the film adaptations this year! First, Joe Hill’s short story, The Black Phone, gets an awesome Ethan Hawke led masterpiece, and now Stephen King’s Mr. Harrigan’s Phone is getting a similar treatment?! Count me in! Admittedly, the latter had a rather quiet release on Netflix just a couple of weeks ago, but I enjoyed it just the same.

Austin and All its Museums

Given that I had never been to Austin prior to attending Austin City Limits, it only makes sense that I would have went out and explored a little bit. Sure, my friend and I segwayed through Downtown and saw things like the Colorado River and the city’s capitol, but what really stuck out were two vastly different museums.
