It has taken me way too long to watch Gen V, the spinoff series from The Boys. And if I’m being honest, I probably would have put this off longer if I knew they weren’t going to be a part of the most recent season of The Boys. There’s no real reason, I guess I just hadn’t been feeling like delving back into this world with completely new characters.

The Boys Review

I’m finally starting to use Amazon Prime Video to its full potential (in my opinion), so with that I’ve just finished the freshman season of the gritty graphic novel adaptation of The Boys. Aside from it being gritty, it is also vulgar, bloody, and violent. Three of my favorite things! This show is not for the flowery faint of heart folks. This show packs a punch in the most fun way!

Spider-Man: Far From Home Review

After the intensity that was Avengers: Endgame back in April, I figured Spider-Man: Far From Home would have a hard time sticking the landing with me, but it ended up being a very nice palette cleanser to round out phase three. It shone the spotlight on your neighborhood super hero just trying to live a normal teenage life….well, as normal as it can be after being gone for five years. Coincidentally enough, all of his good friends were also gone, so they all got to go on a summer science trip to Europe together!
