Ever since Queens of the Stone Age released their album, Villains, back in 2017 I’ve been obsessed with the cover art. And after a few false starts in the past, I finally settled on a medium (for the most part) and drew the dang thing! Pretty pleased with how it turned out. Enjoy!

Fan Art Friday: Heroes’ Hayden Panettiere
It’s honestly a shock to me that I haven’t drawn Heroes‘ related actors more often. I sincerely doubt there will ever be another show to top it, or tie it (besides Hannibal, of course) in my lifetime. Yes, there’s plenty of amazing television out there right now and series I’ve never seen, but Heroes apparently aired during the most perfect time of my life. Whenever I see an actor from the show, no matter how small the part, I always point to the screen and exclaim to whoever is sitting closest to me “they were in Heroes!” before enjoying it even more than before. Now, something magical should be happening in April, and that thing is getting the opportunity to meet Hayden Panettiere at a local comic con convention. When I tell you that my soul almost left my body when I found that out, I mean it. I’m sure tears of excitement came to my eyes, as well. Now, just a couple more months before I have to control myself in her presence – I can do it! In the meantime, enjoy my latest drawing that I will surely have her sign (among other things).

With awards season in full swing (well, kind of), and Morbius set to hit theaters in April (God willing), I decided it was time to draw one of my favorite people again! Jared Leto came into my life via 30 Seconds to Mars, and it was only shortly after that I learned he was an actor. Personally, I like almost everything he’s done, and I look forward to what he chooses to do in the future. At this point, I think his performance in House of Gucci is a lock for an Oscar nomination, but anything can happen.

In honor of the latest Scream installment coming out to day, here is a drawing I did a couple years ago for someone!

I assume those that do not know Elizabeth Debicki from Tenet will soon know her from The Crown, where she will be playing Princess Diana. Personally, she came up on my radar from the miniseries, The Night Manager. With all of those impressive titles, it’s kind of crazy to see how awesome the rest of her resume is, given how young she really is. She did a film with Mick Jagger for crying out loud! I look forward to what she does next, and in the meantime, enjoy my latest portrait.

At this point I feel like it should be no surprise that the final drawing I managed to crank out for 2021 is of The Last Shadow Puppets. Somehow this supergroup slipped under my radar until this year but I’m so glad I was able to find out about them – better late than never! So here’s my final drawing featuring lyrics from their songs “Pattern,” “Aviation,” and “Bad Habits.” Enjoy!

Alright, technically it’s not Friday, but it’s still fine for me to post some deserving fan art! I would like to point out though that this is some throwback fan art, as I’m currently in the middle of a new drawing you’ll have to wait and see next week. With Don’t Look Up in select theaters and hitting Netflix next week, I figured it was a great time to welcome Jennifer Lawrence back into the fold of acting after she took some time off the last couple of years. I can’t wait to see this movie, and I especially can’t wait to see Lawrence on screen again. Who knows, maybe soon she’ll get a new drawing, too!

Having now seen Slipknot three times, I think it’s finally time I drew it’s mastermind of creativity! That, and I have the opportunity to meet Corey Taylor tomorrow. Enjoy!

I’ll admit, I’m late to the Jodie Comer party. Killing Eve has been on my watch list for quite some time now, but it’s still decently far back in the queue. Besides her award winning turn on that hit show, she hasn’t really done much else. Well, that all changed this year when she gave great performances in two drastically different film offerings. The first was Free Guy, which ended up not being quite as funny as I would have hoped, and the latter was The Last Duel. Perhaps that dramatic role is what’s garnered her the most buzz in recent years. She gives a terse performance dealing in very serious subject matter. Her name is still floating around for awards season, and wouldn’t that just be the icing on the cake of her very young career? Anything is possible, but I can’t wait to see what else she’s got in store for the future!

I’ve been a pretty big fan of Adam Driver for quite some time now. Sure, he’s probably most known for his turn as the bad guy Kylo Ren in the latest trio of Star Wars movies, but he’s been in plenty of great indie films and three great turns hosting SNL. If I had to recommend anything to you that he’s in that I’ve seen so far it would be Logan Lucky and Marriage Story. Personally, I’m looking forward to House of Gucci, and there’s another future film of his that’s got me excited for all sorts of reasons I can’t divulge right now, but just be patient. You’ll hear about it soon enough.
